Brief About school

Army School No.1 was opened on 12 July 1993 in the premises of the Grenadiers Regimental Centre, Jabalpur. Initially three single men living barracks were provided by the 'Grenadiers Center' to open classes from class I to VI. However, within a short period of time two additional barracks were also provided to the school to increase the number of classes. As a result, Army School No.1 Jabalpur was able to provide education up to class "IX" in the academic session 93-94. CBSE New Delhi accorded recognition to the school in Dec 93 vide their letter no affi/10372/8745-549 dated 22/30 Dec 93. Class X and XI were opened in 1994 and class XII science and commerce later in 1995. Humanities stream for class XI started from Aug 2009. SCHOOL AFFILIATION NUMBER NEW 1080006 OLD 1030048
